Sophia Schubert vs Carlota Ciganda Prediction: An exciting match ahead

After three rounds of three players fixture, the round four of the Evian Championship will finally be featuring a 2-balls match. In this anticipated match, we expect a lot of excitement when two world class golfer, Sophia Schubert and Carlota Ciganda battle it out on Sunday.

After a successful 69, 65, 66 in the first, second and third round of the Evian Championship, Schubert who made way out of the difficult rounds is expected to show another world class performance when she plays Spanish Carlota Ciganda who had a good three rounds too. Schubert who won Albane Valenzuela, a former Olympian and the number three ranked amateur player in the world, in the final of the 2017 U.S and won her first professional tournament on the Symetra Tour in the Carolina Golf Classic the following year (2021) came into the Evian Championship as a rookie. No one would have thought she would make it this long in the competition.

The 32 year old Spanish professional golfer made her debut as early as 14 years. She is currently ranked 48 in the world. She has 8 professional wins already, having won the LPGA Tour 2 times , the Ladies European Tour 6 times, etc. Ciganda who became a professional golfer in 2011 was the 10th in the 2019 Evian Championship. This year, she will be looking to take her Evian Championship to the next round and she will be focused on winning the tournament.

She shot at 67 in each of her first three rounds of the 2022 Evian Championship which is a very good stat for her. She definitely will be giving it more attention and hope to shoot more in the 4th 2 players round.
