Adam Hadwin vs Maverick McNealy Prediction: Tight encounter on day one

The TPC Twin Cities will host the 3M Open PGA tournament, and Adam Hadwin will square it off with Maverick McNealy on day one. The winning chances of the two golfers are close, and they will head into this game with confidence. Who gets things right?

Adam Hadwin is a professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour and earned All-America Honorable Mention honors for 2009. 

Adam Hadwin turned professional in 2009, and since then, he has won 12 professional titles. 

Over the years, Adam Hadwin won his only PGA Tour win in the Valspar Championship in 2017. He still has other wins in the Desert Dunes Classic, Pacific Colombia Tour Championship, Chile Classic, Chiquita Classic, and the Vancouver City Open in 2010, 2011, and 2016. 

Maverick McNealy got into the golfing world in college and was ranked first in the World Amateur Golf Ranking in late 2016 and early 2017. 

McNealy has played for the 2014 U.S. Open at Pinehurst and won the Haskin Award. 

In 2017, Maverick McNealy turned professional and debuted at the Safeway Open. 2018 McNealy played on the Web.com Tour but could only get his PGA Tour card for the 2019–20 season. Until this stage, Maverick McNealy has failed to win a professional title, but the 28-year golfer has three amateur wins.

Maverick McNealy has not had it easy since turning professional, and I do not like him here. On the other hand, Adam Hadwin has had a number of strong plays in the golf world, and I expect him to do better here. Considering the two golfers' winning chances, this should be tight, but Adam Hadwin is ahead and should win.
