Zimbabwe vs Cameroon Prediction: Aboubakar to lead Cameroon to victory

African Cup of Nations qualification continues, and in this encounter, Zimbabwe will take on Cameroon at Mandela National Stadium. Cameroon have not lost in this fixture since 1997. Will Zimbabwe break that jinx in this fixture?

Zimbabwe started their AFCON qualifier with a goalless draw with Kenya. In that encounter, Zimbabwe had just one shot on goal, creating four total attempts, with 49 points. In the meantime, Zimbabwe have lost two recent matches against South Africa and Kenya. However, their encounter against Comoros and Zambia ended with 0-1 and 0-2 outcomes. 

Cameroon started their AFCON qualifying campaign with a win over Namibia. In a closely contested encounter, Vincent Aboubakar's 65th-minute strike was the only positive for Cameroon, taking them top of Group J. In the meantime, Cameroon's recent matches have ended with only one defeat, a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. In the meantime, the Indomitable Lions defeated Cape Verde and Gambia in that run while being held to a draw by Angola. 

The Cameroon team looks more composed and have consistently shown that. While Zimbabwe are not reliable, playing at home in this fixture should be a momentum for them with the support of their fans. Yet, I believe that the difference in squad and quality will be the deciding factor in this game, and Cameroon should be able to make it two wins in two games.
