Zamalek SC vs Al Ahly Prediction: The Red Devils won't lose two consecutive finals against their archrival

For the second time in three weeks, Al Ahly will face off against Zamalek in yet another final at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on Thursday. The Red Devils are gearing up for what seems to be revenge of the CAF Super Cup loss against the White Knights a few days ago. Both teams have the capacity to lift the trophy; however, Al Ahly are the favorite here.

The White Knights head into this round after knocking out Pyramids in the semifinals a few days ago. Despite conceding fourteen minutes on the pitch, Tunisian talisman Seifeddine Jaziri leveled for Zamalek in the 40th minute. The White Knights didn't do too much, but they were effective in their approach as they won (4-5) on penalty. 

Zamalek are presently the holder of CAF Super Cup after their (3-4) penalty victory over Al Ahly. Despite a poor first-half display, Zamalek settled for a full time (1-1) stalemate against Al Ahly and won the trophy of penalty. 

Zamalek are playing with precision and enthusiasm and are unbeaten in the last three matches.

The Red Devils saw off a strong Ceramica side in the semifinals of the Egypt Super Cup to advance to this round. The Red Devils were lucky to have amassed all the points as their opponent gave them a run for their money. The (2-1) victory was after their defeat against Zamalek in the CAF Super Cup final. 

They have been below par in recent games but can’t afford to put up another terrible display against their rival here. 

Al Ahly, who won the CAF Champions League, Egypt Super Cup, Egypt Cup, and Egyptian Premier League, will hope to replicate such a feat against this campaign. This is another opportunity for them to lay their hands on silverware after their recent defeat against Zamalek.
