Wiliete vs C.R.D. Libolo Prediction: A tough encounter than it looks on the table

Estadio Nacional de Ombaka will host the Angola Girabola League game between Wiliete and C.R.D. Libolo. The last time these two sides met, the home side pulled off a win on the road. Will the visiting side get a chance this time?

Wiliete are coming off a 0-3 win over Santa Rita and will look to keep things running. In that encounter, Wiliete were one goal up in the first half, with Merdi Karfuti striking in the 31st minute. However, goals from Karanga and Kaporal in the second half were enough to seal Wiliete's third win in consecutive matches, having defeated Kabuscorp and Lunada City in prior encounters. Wiliete have 19 points this season from their first nine league matches, leaving them four points adrift of first-placed Primeiro de Agosto. 

C.R.D. Libolo played Petro Atletico last weekend and settled for a 1-1 draw. In that encounter, Carlos Barreiro put this side in the lead from the spot just five minutes into the second half. However, Bryan Rochez's 72nd-minute strike denied this team maximum points. I was looking at C.R.D. In Libolo's recent matches, they have settled for draws twice, the first being a goalless encounter with Sao Salvador. Yet, this team lost to Bravos do Maquis in round 8 of the Girabola games. 

Wiliete have been a decent side and are showing they are one of the sides that should be recognized as league contenders. While C.R.D. Libolo are not far from it, and their inconsistency and disappointing performances against weaker teams are tough to deal with. I do believe the two teams have what it takes to compete here, but their last meeting performances make it look like C.R.D. Libolo have no chance. Things might change here, but Wiliete's level of play has increasingly improved. I will back the better team here, especially with history in their favor, an encounter that could end with both teams scoring.
