Vardar vs Tikves Prediction: Vardar’s fans are expecting win

It has been known for a long time that the new second-division teams are Makedonija GP and Bregalnica, while Vardar will play playout matches with Detonit Plachkovica. The club with the most trophies ends this campaign with a home match against the finalist in the Cup, Tikves. The fans are expecting Vardar to end the season with a win and enter into the playout matches with confidence.

Vardar will officially play in the barrage for survival in the First League. The most trophy-winning football team did not win in the last round when visiting Sileks (1-1) and lost all chances and hopes that they could catch up with Brera Strumica in the last round of the Macedonian football championship. In the playoffs, Vardar will face Detonit Plachkovica, who finished third in the Second MFL. The date and place of the match will be further determined by the Football Federation of Macedonia (FFM).

Tikves are fourth with 43 points and are close to the best ranking in the First League in their history. However the most important for them is playing in the National Cup final in a few days against Voska. In the last round, they welcomed Voska in Kavadarci and played only a draw. In this match the manager might make some rotations in the team, to avoid injuries of some of the important players and to give them a little rest.

Vardar are a slight favorite at home against Tikves, they won in the previous match in this stadium 2:0. It’s known that Vardar always have a full stadium at home so the fans are always expecting the best from this team. However both teams have more important matches coming in the next period, Vardar will play in the playout while Tikves is in the final of the Cup and I think that in this match they will use youngsters and players who didn’t play much this season.
