US Goree vs Generation Foot Prediction: The hosts will hope to do the double over their opponent

With a game into the second half of the season, US Goree will be determined to extend their unbeaten run to eight when they host Generation Foot at the Stade Iba Mar Diop de Dakar Stadium on Sunday.

The home side are yet to taste defeat in their last eight games, winning five and sharing the spoils in three matches. US Goree head here with a stalemate on the road against ASC Diambars. They have now drawn their last two games, although both matches were played away from home. 

US Goree have scored eleven times this season while conceding nine, and it has been a great start to the campaign. US Goree escaped relegation with five points last season, and it’s evident their away game contributed to their misfortunes. In this campaign, they’ve won twice, drawn three games, and lost once on their ground this season.

The defending champions are having a terrible season so far, with three wins in fourteen matches. They march here with a share of the spoils against Stade Mbour as Ibrahim Biteye scored with the last kick of the game to level on their ground. They could have lost another home game if not for the goal. 

Generation Foot couldn’t keep their stars and were unable to recruit top quality. This has contributed to their downfall this season, and they can’t seem to stop selling their key players, as three comrades left during the winter transfer period. Generation Foot have lost three, won once, and drawn two games on the road. 

Over their previous thirteen meetings, Generation Foot have won seven while US Goree have recorded two wins and four games ending in a tie. The visitors are not what they used to be, and we are not sure they’ll maintain their decent record against the hosts. The reverse leg ended in a (1-2) victory for US Goree on the road, and we are sure that would have given them the belief that they could do the double over their struggling opponent. It’s a bit risky, but I will go all the way to back US Goree win for 1.87.
