Moldova could not keep its place in the League C of the League of Nations. In the final of the play-off they met with Kazakhstan. In the first meeting the Moldovans made a serious mistake, losing at home with a score of 1:2. After the first two rounds in the Liga D, the hosts have four points so they do not lose hope for promotion. 

Latvia feels comfortable in Group I of League D. have queit easy quartet - Moldova, Andorra and Liechtenstei and they already beat two opponents confidently. First came the resounding victory over Andorra, and then a minimal win over Liechtenstein (1:0). Thus, with six points, the Latvian team is the main contender in this group to enter the next league.

Moldova was not particularly impressive at the start of the League of Nations. They beat Liechtenstein in the first round, but perhaps only San Marino will have difficulties with this national team. Latvia looks more stable and the victory over Andorra is the trademark of the Latvians in this tournament. We suggest just in case to bet on a zero handicap for rather good odds.
