Cyprus vs Northern Ireland Prediction: the Green-and White Army to Get a Minimal Victory

Cyprus did not shine in the World Cup qualifiers. It was not the easiest sextet (Croatia, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta), in which it took the penultimate place with five points. However, the Cypriot team managed to make their public happy by keeping their position in League C. In the final of the play-off they fought against Estonia, which they defeated by a score of 2:0 on the sum of two games. 

Northern Ireland did well in qualifying for the World Cup, but failed to book a ticket to Qatar. The first two places were claimed by Switzerland and Italy, against whom the Irish had no chance. The team finished third in Group C with nine points - two wins, three draws and three losses. Before the Nations League, the Green and White Army played two friendlies beating Luxembourg 3:1 and fell to Hungary (0:1). 

It is difficult to determine the favorite but the national team of Northern Ireland inspires more confidence than the team of Cyprus. The latter failed to qualify for the World Cup, and then almost dropped out of League D. Northern Ireland must improve their tournament placing, because in the first round of the Nations League they lost to Georgia (0:1). In our opinion, the Irish will not lose at least in the under game.
