Napoli vs Legia: The Italians will score many goals

Napoli have just one point after two rounds in the Europa League group stage. The home meeting with Legia is crucial for the Neapolitans. It seems unbelievable, but Napoli have eight wins in their eight starts in the Italian Serie A. Interestingly, the Polish grandee is performing badly in the domestic league. They got only 15th place and three consecutive defeats ahead of the match against Napoli. However, in European competitions, the team beat everyone in a row - 1-0 away to Spartak, the same minimum victory in the home game against Leicester. And before that, there was a glorious success against Slavia Prague in the last qualifying round. Is it the same Legia that plays in the European tournament and the national championship?

It is much simpler. In European competitions, the Varsovians have been winning so far. Slavia created a million chances in their home game with Legia, while the Poles had only two shots in the whole game. The result was 2-2. Spartak dominated the entire game, missed a lot of chances, and conceded a silly goal in the end. However, Leicester didn’t want to lose and should have taken at least a draw from Poland. The once-white streak, unfortunately for Legia, must come to an end.

Bookmakers are offering very low odds, around 1.10, on a Napoli win. The betting analysts are almost certain of a huge win for Napoli, and they seem to be right. For Luciano Spalletti’s team, the upcoming match is the key one in the European Cup campaign. So, the Poles will have no mercy. Everything that failed to go in their previous European Cup games might well fly into the gates of Legia. It’s true, Napoli will probably play with a half squad, but the Southerners have as many players on the bench as they do in the starting line-up.
