Manchester United vs Twente Prediction: We wouldn't be surprised to see MU's victory

The Red Devils lost to Manchester City on penalties in the Super Cup of England. MU defeated Barnsley 7:0 in the League Cup. In the English Championship, they lost to Brighton and Liverpool, won against FFulham and Thampton, and drew 0:0 with Crystal Palace London after five rounds in the APL. Manchester United is in 11th place with seven points, three points behind Chelsea, who are in the European Cup. 

Twente started the international part of the season with Champions League qualification, lost to Salzburg in a two-game confrontation, and fell into the main tournament of the Europa League. In the Dutch Championship, Twente played six matches: defeat against Utrecht, draws against Sparta and Zwolle, and wins against Nijmegen, Praveen, and Mere City. Twente is fourth with 11 points, 7 behind leaders PSV.

With MU already struggling for results at the start of the 2024/25 APL season, it is safe to assume that qualifying for next season's Champions League via the APL could be problematic for the Mancunians. As such, the Europa League could be the Red Devils' salvation, as it has been in the past, and the home side will be looking to kick off their international campaign with a convincing victory over a team of a significantly lower class.
