Moldova vs Faroe Islands Prediction: Group E Outsiders

The Moldovan national team never won Group 1 of League D, but at least they were close to it, losing to Latvia on minor indices. Moldova earned 13 points in six rounds on a 10-6 goal differential. Unlike Moldova, the Faroe Islands play in the League of Nations League C, and the visitors have managed to keep their place in the division, seven points ahead of Lithuania. The opening match between the two outsiders of Group E will not be packed with goals. The tournament is just beginning. The teams are willing to fight for at least the third or second position in the group, which is quite realistic, given their opponents. That means no one will risk their chances in the first game. On the contrary, we expect close soccer from weak teams. As for the outcome, we hope for a draw, perhaps even a nil-nil one.
