Fiorentina vs Braga Prediction: Don’t expect a lot of goals

Fiorentina beat Braga 4:0 in the first leg of the Conference League Qualifying Playoff.

Fiorentina beat Braga in the first match. They were the favorites, but not obvious at all. They even scored the first goal only in stoppage time. However, the team returned almost formally in the second match, scoring three unanswered goals. Notably, on xG, they had only 1.3 goals, which does not reflect the final score. Now Fiorentina has an incredibly easy task - losing at home no more than three goals is possible. But, of course, the players of such a club do not think that way.

Hardly anyone would have imagined before the 55th minute of the first match that Braga, losing 0:1 at the time, would concede three more goals. But a direct suspension threw all the team's efforts into oblivion. After 0:4, the Portuguese club can hardly think that there is any chance of winning back, especially in Florence. Braga will probably play at their pleasure, for the club's honor.

The upcoming meeting is almost friendly. Braga knows they will not be allowed away from 0:4 in Italy. And there seems to be no motivation after such a game. On the other hand, Fiorentina can play for the audience, to the delight of their fans. Therefore, we think that through their attitude to the game, the Fiorentinians can win this game. But they will not try to do anything for the sake of it, so we do not expect an abundance of scoring.
