Basel vs Fiorentina Prediction: Expect a win for the guests

Fiorentina travel to Basel in the return leg of the Conference League semi-final. The Swiss club won the first leg rather unexpectedly with a 2:1 win - can they maintain their lead? What's the best bet?

Fiorentina, for their part, by some miracle, did not just manage to win the first match and not even lose. The team was clear favorites to win the game in Florence, with Fiorentina leading the way until the 71st minute. But then they conceded two goals, and now the Violets are already trailing in Switzerland. Nevertheless, one goal is not a verdict, so Vincenzo Italiano's charges will certainly not give up. As for Fiorentina's Eurocup encounter, they registered a 2:0 win over Udinese in Serie A.

The betting experts favor Fiorentina ahead of the second leg as well. On paper, Fiorentina is simply better, and their squad is stronger. In the first game, the team relaxed early, and they paid the price for it. Now, they need to work on their mistakes and at least win in regulation time by one goal to advance to overtime. Basel isn't some unbreakable fortress, so betting on the visitors to win in regulation time looks logical. It's also possible to bet on their qualification for the Conference League final.
