AZ vs Anderlecht Prediction: Will AZ be able to win at home?

Prediction for the UEFA Conference League match between AZ Alkmaar and Anderlecht which will take place on April 20. Check the team conditions and choose several betting options.

In the first leg against Anderlecht, AZ lost with a score of 0:2 and their chances of qualifying to the next stage were considerably reduced. However, the Dutch club will do everything in their power to get back into the game. It is worth noting that the club from Alkmaar approach the game with Anderlecht not in the best shape. In the last five games, they scored only one win: 3:0 over Fortuna, a 1:1 draw with Heerenveen and three defeats, 1:5 

Anderlecht, on the other hand, is in more convincing form heading into the return leg. In the same period (five games), the Belgian side have been stronger three times - 2:0 over Oud-Heverlee Leuven, 1:0 over Eupen and 2:0 over AZ, a 0:0 draw with Westerloe and a 2:5 loss to Genk. In this game, the Purple and Whites will play accurate football. Their advantage over AZ is not bad (two goals), but it's easy to lose it. We expect the visitors to play more defensively.

The bookmakers have written off the visitors, which is strange given the conditions in which the opponents approach the game. AZ have not been shining lately, but Anderlecht has lost just one match out of the previous five. In our opinion, we'll wait for the underdogs in this pairing. After all, the Belgian club will play on defense, and the hosts' offense in recent times leaves much to be desired.
