Liverpool vs Villarreal: the Yellow Submarine to Park an All-out Bus

Villarreal turned out to be in the semifinals of the Champions League. Who was expecting this? Now the opponent of the Yellow Submarine is Liverpool. Will Unai Emery's charges prevent the Scousers from creating a comfortable advantage at Anfield? Check the teams' condition! Several betting options are available.

Liverpool, one might say, was lucky with their opponents in the UCL playoffs. First, in the last 16, the Scousers met with Inter, beating them at ease (2:1 on the sum of two). Then, in the quarterfinals, they played with Benfica (6:4 on the sum of two). In the upcoming semifinals, Jurgen Klopp needs to work a lot, because Villarreal will not go in a mas rush but simply park the bus in the hope of a counterattack, as it was with Bayern.

In the English elite, Liverpool continue to fight with Manchester City for the title. At the moment, the Reds have only one point less than the Citizens. So essentially any mistake now matters. Three days after the match against Villarreal, Liverpool face a tough away match with Newcastle, where it simply has no right to fail. 

Villarreal surprised everyone. Certainly, no one expected them to reach at least the quarterfinals, and here they are... Unai Emery's wards demonstrated their character and quite deservedly outplayed Juventus and Bayern. The team fully concentrated on defense but how else could they do it? Villarreal are not as packed with technical players as, for example, Bayern or the same Juventus. Emery simply has no other choice. We can't expect an open and attacking game from the Yellow Submarine at Anfield. 

We do not expect a defeat in this match. Liverpool are the favorites, and they will play at Anfield, where they show some classy soccer, but Unai Emery knows a lot about the buses; Juventus and Bayern will prove. We suggest betting on the Scousers not to lose, having added the total under with a margin.
