Chelsea vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction: Will Graham Potter's team be able to upset a strong opponent?

The second leg of the Champions League round of 16 will take place on March 7 - Chelsea will face Borussia Dortmund on their home arena. In the run-up to this game, the Aristocrats broke their negative streak and returned to winning ways in the EPL. Will Graham Potter's team be able to upset a strong opponent?

After the transfer market boom, the Aristocrats have shown a weak and uninteresting game in the EPL. Their best performance in terms of the quality of the game can be called the game against Borussia in Germany (0:1). In that game, the team created many scoring chances but failed to break through Kobel. Last week the Aristocrats took on Leeds United at home in round 26 of the English league. The club held another match under severe pressure; the Londoners beat the Peacocks with a minimum margin of 1:0.

After their first game against Chelsea in the Champions League playoffs, the squad had time to play three games in the Bundesliga. The Bumblebees extended their great winning streak. Borussia beat Hertha, Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig 7:2 on aggregate. The Dortmund side's positive streak in all competitions already stands at 12 games. Borussia is second only to Bayern in the German championship on goal difference.

Chelsea is constantly under enormous pressure. It is unclear why Graham Potter's team can pass Borussia and continue their campaign on the European stage. However, bookmakers believe more in the winning outcome of the return leg for the Aristocrats. We disagree with this position and believe that the Dortmund club won't lose, at least at Stamford Bridge. We should expect a very tense match in which the series of draws for the Londoners will continue. We look forward to Borussia in the quarterfinals of Europe's most prestigious club tournament.
