Tusker vs Kakamega Homeboyz Prediction: Tusker to return to winning ways

At Kenyatta Stadium, Tusker will play Kakamega Homeboyz in round 3 of the Kenyan Premier League. The two teams could not secure a win in their last meeting. Will there be a winner in this one?

Tusker would be disappointed with how things ended for them the previous weekend against Kariobangi Sharks and will look to do better here. In that encounter, Tusker had two goals up before the break, with Ryan Ogam and Charles Momanyi netting for them. However, they were poor defensively in the second half, conceding three different times, which saw them end up losing. With a win in their opening day game against Sofapaka, Tusker has three points this season from a possible six, leaving them seated 8th in the standings. 

Kakamega Homeboyz played Mathare United last weekend and could only secure a draw, a game that ended goalless. In the meantime, their opener was against Mara Sugar, and they lost 3-0. In that game, Samuel Otieno Odaro was the star of the day, scoring three times for his side. Heading into this game, Kakamega Homeboyz have not won any of their last three competitive matches, losing two and drawing one. 

Tusker has been good this season but could not get things right the previous week. However, Kakamega Homeboyz were below par in their first two games and will have to be at their best to win here. The home team won the last meeting of this game, and I expect a similar win performance here. Also, while the two teams are expected to be strong defensively, I expect a few goals in this game.
