Young Africans vs Pamba SC Prediction: Yanga Boys will get a halftime victory

On Thursday, the Yanga Boys will face off against Pamba SC at the Azam Complex. The hosts have kept it simple over their last three games in the league, heading here with four consecutive clean sheets and scoring less than two goals in each of their previous three matches. The visitors, on the other hand, have not won since gaining promotion to the league. 

Miguel Gamando's men head here with another low score, scoring once against KMC on their home turf. It’s strange to see Young Africans fire just two shots at goal in a game on their ground. The hosts scored in the fifth minute which was enough to secure them all the points.

Yanga Boys have scored four goals in three games, heading here with three consecutive cleansheet. Young Africans were phenomenal last season as they successfully defended the Tanzania Ligi Kuu Bara title. 

Young Africans made some fantastic decisions by keeping their key players and bolstering the squad. However, they’ve not been at their best lately, especially in front of goal. 

The hosts suffered their second defeat of the season against a winless Coastal Union on the road. After a quiet halftime, Coastal Union found the back of the net twice to secure all the points at home. The defeat was after their (2-2) stalemate against Mashujaa on their home turf. 

Pamba SC return to the Premier League after three years, and they’ll be determined to remain this time. Goran Kopunovic's men finished second in the Championship division, three points behind Kengold FC.

Pamba SC have won the Tanzania Premier League before, and it’ll be interesting to see where they finish this season. 

Young Africans are yet to find their rhythm this season despite three consecutive wins. They have managed five shots at goal in both games and have been unable to convert their chances. We expect a more aggressive offensive approach here, and we are trusting them to get win before the break for 1.75.

Pamba SC have struggled since promotion, and we think they'd rather play defensively here as they are not a match for the hosts.
