On Tuesday, Young Africans will square off against newly promoted JKT Tanzania at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. Yanga Boys picked up from where they stopped last season, scoring five times in their opening game. On the other hand, JKT Tanzania picked up their first three points against Namungo on the road.

Defending Champions Young Africans won the league title last season with five points over their arch-rival Simba SC. Young Africans picked up seventy-eight points from a possible ninety and got to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup, where they lost (2-2) aggregate to USM Alger.
Young Africans commenced the season with a comfortable victory over KMC, scoring five times over the visitors. Yango Boys looked similar to last season but even more dangerous, as they had five different goalscorers on the scoresheet.
Yanga Boys lost their pacey striker Fiston Mayele, who scored eighteen times last season; however, Ghanaian striker Wontah Konkoni, who was the second leading scorer in the Ghanaian league, has been brought in to fill his spot. JKT Tanzania
The visitors began their campaign with a convincing (0-1) victory on the road against Namungo FC. New signing Martin Kigi scored the only goals that secured the maximum points.
The visitors won the championship last season after finishing fourth place in the previous campaign. JKT Tanzania scored sixty-three points from a possible eighty-four, scoring forty-eight while conceding nineteen times.
JKT Tanzania are new in the division after relegation in 2021, and it’ll be difficult for them to adapt so quickly; however, we expect them to remain in the league.

Young Africans have won five and shared the spoils once over their last six meetings with the visitors. Young Africans looked more dangerous with the absence of their leading scorer, Fiston Mayele.
