Ihefu vs Namungo Prediction: We anticipate a win in either half for the hosts

With six games to wrap up the season, Ihefu will be keen to bounce back from their recent woes when they face off against Namungo at the Liti Stadium on Monday. The hosts have a more significant hurdle to overcome as they are yet to taste a win against Namungo over their previous five meetings.

The hosts head here without a win over their previous five league games. Ihefu are now fighting to remain in the league, having spent heavily during the winter. More recently, they lost narrowly to Azam FC on the road, conceding just once against a very coordinated team. 

With one victory over their previous six games, Mecky Mexime's men can’t afford to drop points when they face off against a strong Namungo tomorrow. The visitors have been impressive lately, heading here with a win against Coastal Union and settling for a stalemate against Simba SC. Before then, the Southern Killers were on three games without a win, but their victory over a solid Coastal Union gave them renewed hope. 

Despite their recent run, Namungo are still fighting for survival, having picked up twenty-seven points from a combined seventy-one. 

The result means Namungo will now go six points below the continental spot and three points above the relegation zone. Namungo have won once, lost five, and drawn six away from home this season. 

Over their previous five meetings, Namungo have won three and drawn twice against Ihefu. The hosts have struggled lately and head here without a win in five games. Ihefu have the quality to challenge for a top-four spot but have been unstable. At the same time, Namungo head here with a decent performance against Simba SC and Coastal Union. They are sky-high in confidence, and this seems to be the right time for them to face off against Ihefu as they hope to survive relegation this season. 

Ihefu, who have struggled in front of goal lately, welcome Marouf TChakei, who has been their best player this season from injury. This will boost their confidence, and we are trusting them to win or draw and score over 1.5 goals for 2.45.

We think the hosts won’t lose here as they have the advantage to see off a strong Namungo team.
