Azam FC vs Pamba Prediction: The hosts will get it right this time against their opponent

Following their setback against JKT Tanzania on the road, Azam FC will be poised to claim their first victory of the season when they face off against newly promoted Pamba FC at the Azam Complex Stadium on Saturday. 

The hosts began their league journey with a negative statement against JKT Tanzania. They were wasteful and deserved a point against a well-organized team. 

Youssouph Dabo's comrades, who wrapped up their season in second spot, had one of their best seasons in so many years. However, they didn’t take advantage of the opportunity, as they were knocked out of the CAF Champions League qualifiers by APR. 

Azam FC have been able to convince their best player, Feisal Salum to stick with them and have acquired some foreign experience to help them retain the second spot. 

The newly promoted team have drawn their last two games at home, failing to score in both games. They have done well defensively but struggled to convert their chances. 

Pamba returned to the Premier League after three years, and they’re determined to remain there this time. Goran Kopunovic's men finished second in the Championship division, three points behind Kengold FC.

Pamba SC have won the Tanzania Premier League before, and it’ll be interesting to see where they finish this season. 

Since 2023, Pamba have lost just three games, but those were in the second division. They’ll be contesting against one of the best teams in the division tomorrow, which will happen to be their real test since 2023. On the other hand, Azam FC have not lived up to their expectations this season, and considering they settled for a stalemate on the road, they can’t afford to drop a stinker on their ground.
