Zurich vs Winterthur Prediction: Zurich to keep things running

However, a second-half 58th-minute strike by Marchesano was good enough to see this team have a good advantage going into the second leg. While they also won their first league game against Yverdon, Zurich headed into this game, seated third in the league standings with three solid points.

Winterthur secured a much-needed win in their season's opening game against St. Gallen. In that encounter, in the 70th minute, Matteo Di Giusto's strike proved to be the difference. However, this team made just two attempts to reach the goal and had just 39 percent of the possession, which they will look to improve. Heading into this game, Winterthur have won all their last seven matches in all competitions, a record they will look to continue. 

This game will be competitive, but I am rooting for Zurich. This team has been very good and organized at home, and I expect them to keep things running. While Winterthur struggled last season, their preseason performance and opening games will boost their confidence. Yet, Zurich are in a better position and have the advantage to win a game that should end with goals.
