Winterthur had a very poor performance in that game, pulling off 59 percent of the possession while failing to attempt a single shot. However, this team has lost three of their last matchups, two against Lugano and Young Boys. In their best result in recent matches, Winterthur secured a 1-0 win over Grasshoppers, holding Wil to a 2-2 draw.

Basel will look to keep things going in this week 11 fixture after a 2-1 win over St. Gallen the previous weekend. In that game, Basel needed to come from behind to take maximum points, thanks to Kevin leveling the score before the break, before his last-minute strike in the second half. Heading into this fixture, Basel have won three times in the last five matches, two others against Young Boys and Stade Nyonnais. However, they lost to Zurich and Luzern in other matches, ending 0-2 and 1-0. 

Basel have the better record in this fixture and are favorites in this game. While Winterthur are struggling this season, I do not see them having a chance at home. However, this should be a tight encounter, with the two teams expected to focus on defensive play. Yet, the home side has struggled and should lose again, a game that should end with few goals.
