Lugano vs Young Boys Prediction: Young Boys will shock Lugano away from home

Cornaredo Stadium will host the Swiss Super League game between Lugano and Young Boys. The previous time these two sides faced off, Lugano won away from home. Can the visiting team replicate that feat?

Lugano secured a win over Mlada Boleslav the previous time out in the Europa Conference League, which ended 0-1. In that encounter, Renato Steffen's strike was the difference in the first half, securing maximum points for this side. However, Lugano played Yverdon in their last league game and lost 2-0, conceding in each half of that encounter. Yet, it is worth noting that Lugano had five wins in their last matches, lost one and drew three. 

Young Boys are coming off a Champions League game against Inter, and they lost 0-1. Marco Thuram's last-minute strike was the difference in that game, as he secured maximum points for his side. However, the visiting team's last league encounter was against Luzern, and they secured a 2-1 win. In the meantime, it is crucial to note that Young Boys have only one win in their last matches, as they lost to Basel, Barcelona, and Grasshoppers in other encounters. 

Lugano have been decent this season, but I do not see them win here. While Young Boys are playing badly, I feel they need to do better and play at the top level. The visiting team still looks like the side to bank on here, given the importance of this game to them. While Lugano struggled last weekend, I expect them to show strong defensive play.
