St. Mirren vs Dundee United Prediction: The home team will return to winning ways

Paisley 2021 Stadium will host the Scottish Premiership encounter between St. Mirren and Dundee United. Last time out, the two teams struggled and failed to secure a win. How will they respond in this game?

St. Mirren are coming off a defeat to Motherwell, a game that ended 2-1. In that encounter, St. Mirren took the lead in the 9th minute through Killian Phillips's strike. However, this team went to concede twice before the break, with their opponent overturning the strike, thanks to Lennon Miller's brace. However, prior encounters to that defeat saw St. Mirren pull off an unbeaten run of three games, drawing Dundee FC and Kilmarnock while defeating Hearts. Heading into this game, Dundee United have a winless run of three matches, losing two and drawing one. 

This is an open game as neither team is playing at the top level. Yet Dundee United have been a bit better, but I do not see them win this game on the road. Take St Mirren to win this game, as the odds slightly favor them. Also, while the two teams' defenses have been very poor, we should expect many goals in this encounter.
