Sparta Prague vs Slovacko Prediction: The home team is unbeatable

In the Czech Fortuna Liga, Sparta Prague will play Slovacko at epet ARENA in round 6. Last time out in the league, the two teams were able to secure wins against their opponents. Will either side keep that momentum up, or will a draw be a satisfactory result?

Sparta Prague are coming off a midweek encounter against Malmo FF, which ended 0-2. In a European Champions League encounter, this team needed an own goal before the break and a last-minute Matej Rynes strike to boost their chances of qualification in the main competition in the second leg. However, Sparta Prague heads into this game unbeaten in their last ten matches in all competitions. In the league this season, Sparta Prague have accumulated maximum points from each game, and this leave them seated at the top of the standings.

Slovacko made it consecutive league wins over Ostrava the previous weekend with a 1-0 win, which was good for giving them maximum points. In that game, an own goal by Matej Chalus was what Slovacko needed to pick up that win at home. In the meantime, Slovacko have suffered only one defeat in recent matches, which was against Mlada Boleslav. In other encounters, Slovacko secured a win over FK Pardubice while settling for draws against Bohemians and Slavia Prague. 

In the last meetings between these sides, Sparta Prague won the last three, while Slovacko could only settle for draws in two other encounters. In those matches, the home team scored 13 goals, while Slovacko scored four. 

Slovacko will have a lot of hopes going into this game, but I still do not see them proving themselves. At the moment, Sparta Prague are the better side of any team in the league, and while Slovacko have failed to win in this fixture in the past, changing the narratives on the road is not a perfect chance. However, while the two teams might have their chances, looking at how things ended between them in the past, a win for the host with goals are the best option to bet on.
