Valencia vs Betis Prediction: Expect a Draw?

Valencia will face Betis in Sunday's pool of the 14th round of the Spanish La Liga. Despite the opponents' recent results, the bookmakers are siding with the Levantines in the pairing. Check the team conditions and choose several betting options.

Valencia is unbeaten in their last five games. After an unpredictable win over Osasuna in Pamplona, the Orange have drawn three times and lost twice to Mallorca and Barcelona, with both defeats coming home. With these results, Valencia dropped to 11th place, even dropping out of the top 10 of La Liga. As we have written before, it is evident that the Levantine coaching staff is trivially unable to cope with their duties, and we would not be surprised if there is a change of coach in Valencia during the World Cup or immediately after the upcoming round. Valencia's home stats are 11th in the division, +3=1-3, 12:7 goal difference.

Unlike Valencia, Betis has a 4-match unbeaten streak, three clear wins over Ludogorets, HJK, and Real Sociedad, and a 1:1 draw in the derby against Sevilla. As we predicted, the derby turned out to be very competitive. For Sampaoli and his boys, that game was not even crucial but of maximum importance. The result was three penalties, two of them against Betis. The Cucumbers ran out of energy in the derby, trying to hold off their neighbors. They may have been exhausted, but let's not forget that Betis have practically two equivalent squads, and the Green and White themselves would not mind going into the break in fourth place at all. The southerners are under much pressure from San Sebastian Basque and Osasuna.

Betis has a catastrophic staffing situation, and it is because of this the Cucumbers are quoted as such big outsiders in the upcoming game. Meanwhile, Valencia themselves doesn't seem to be pleasing us at all with their results or coaching ideas. It seems as if fate itself is giving the Levantines a chance to turn the stats around, but there is no certainty that the Orange will be able to seize the opportunity.
