Getafe vs Real Madrid Prediction: Betting on the visitors and the exchange of goals

Last weekend, Real Madrid lost their lead in the Spanish La Liga standings with a draw against Osasuna. If they win, they will regain the top spot.

In the last round of La Liga, Getafe lost unexpectedly at home to Valladolid (2:3), and before that, they were stronger than Real Sociedad and Osasuna. At the start of the eighth round, the home side is 14th with 7 points, three points clear of the relegation zone. Getafe's home statistics are 13th in the division, +1=1-2, 4:7 goal difference.

It has been harder for Real Madrid to score than at the start of the season. Before the break, they beat Atletico away to the minimum. Immediately after the break, they drew with Osasuna at home, and three days after Osasuna, they minimally won Shakhtar. Real Madrid has the same points as Barcelona but is markedly inferior to the Barça side on goal difference, and the opponents have not yet played each other. Also, note that Real Madrid's defense is excellent; 7 conceded goals in seven games is not insignificant.

In all of Real Madrid's official matches, there has been a total over 1.5, and Real Madrid has only failed to win once. In the last round of La Liga, a draw with Osasuna cost the visitors their leading position. Naturally, Madrid wants to regain first place, at least for the day, before the Barcelona match. Regarding the total, we expect a reasonably productive game, as Real Madrid has been scoring less recently but conceding goals regularly.
