Celta vs Girona Prediction: We would not be surprised of a draw

After a strong start with back-to-back wins over Alaves and Valencia, Celta lost to Villarreal and Osasuna. In the fifth round of La Liga, the Galician side beat Valladolid 3:1 before losing to Atletico. Celta has yet to draw a game this season. Going into Saturday's eighth round of the Copa del Rey pool, Celta is in 10th place with 9 points, 4 behind Atletico. 

The Catalans played their first Champions League game against PSG, losing 1:0. Victories over Osasuna and Sevilla, defeats at the hands of Barcelona, Atletico, and Valencia, and draws with Betis and Rayo gave them 8 points heading into the eighth round. Girona is 12th, 4 points behind Atletico, who are in the UEFA Competition.

Celta has lost four of their last five matches, winning only against lowly Valladolid. Girona has also struggled recently, but we should not forget that the Catalans represent Spain in the Champions League and beat Celta in both of their meetings last season. Girona can get a positive result from Galicia, but we would not be surprised if the meeting ended in a draw.
