South Korea vs Brazil Prediction: The Yellow and Green will get a comfortable win

Brazil beat South Korea in both head-to-head encounters by a combined score of 5:0. Will the Asian side be able to avoid another defeat for the Yellow and Green? 

South Korea has been a regular participant in the World Cup since 1982. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar will not be without the Asian national side, who qualified for the tournament without too much trouble, finishing second in their qualifying group behind Iran. Paulo Bento's side suffered a stunning 0:1 defeat at the hands of the United Arab Emirates in the last round. Still, the South Koreans had solved all their tournament goals while their opponents desperately needed three points. The main problem for the Red Devils is that they have failed to get out of the group stage at the World Cup itself on three occasions in a row, but they will only be thinking about that at the end of the year.

Brazil is another national team that has consistently featured in World Cups, and the group stage of the tournament is too easy a task for them. The last time they failed to reach a playoff spot in a World Cup was back in 1966. They also qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar without any problems, finishing first on their continent, with 45 points from 51 possible matches in 17 games, which shows their incredible stability. In the upcoming World Cup, the Brazilians are in a tough group with the Serbs, Cameroonians, and Swiss, but they are seen as clear favorites even here.

South Korea and Brazil are completely different teams. The Asians always tend to play solid and disciplined football, but the Yellow and Green are still superior in class. In both of their previous head-to-head encounters, the team has been consistently stronger than the Red Devils, so we should now bet on the Brazilian team to win with a handicap (-1.5) at the odds of 2.216.

South Korea and Brazil are both renowned for their defensive quality. This is best illustrated by statistics showing that Asians have conceded just two goals in their last seven matches (0.29 per game on average). In comparison, the Yellow-Green have conceded two goals in their previous eight meetings (0.25 goals per game on average). In this encounter, we cannot expect a goal extravaganza either. The Red Devils will again try to play high quality at home, and it will be difficult for the Brazilians to adapt to a different time zone. With this in mind, we suggest betting on a total under 2.5 for 1.95.

Neymar had another average season for PSG, playing in just 22 games in the French league but scoring 13 goals in six Champions League appearances. Instead, for the national team of Brazil, he always plays with great pleasure: qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, he played in ten games during which he recorded eight goals and eight assistants' points. And now we can bet on Neymar's goal for about 2.195.
