Golden Arrows vs Mamelodi Sundowns Prediction: This encounter won’t deprive us of goals

On Wednesday, Golden Arrows will face off against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Mpumalanga Stadium. The Brazilians head here with yet another exceptional performance against the second-best team in the league, eliminating Stellenboch in the semi-final of the Nedbank Cup. They will be keen to sustain their unbeaten run in the division even though they won the league already when they face off against a winless home team.

The Brazilians are one of the best teams in the continent; unfortunately, they were knocked out of the CAF Championship by Tunisian top side Esperance, having won the AFL title and PSL. Mamelodi Sundowns have the best defence in the league, although they have played fewer games. Mamelodi Sundowns have won nine and drawn two away from home this season.

Over their previous twenty meetings, Mamelodi Sundowns have been the more dominant side in this fixture with fourteen wins, while Golden Arrows have won twice and four games ending in a tie. Even though the hosts are undefeated over their last three games at home, Mamelodi Sundowns can’t be moved by this run. The visitors who have already won the league can’t afford to end their invincible record in the league.
