Lion City vs Tanjong Pagar Prediction: The home side will score twice at halftime

Following a disappointing ending in the previous season, Lion City will kick off their new campaign with a matchup against Tanjong Pagar at the Bishan Stadium on Friday. The Sailors have made eight major signings and will be hopeful of challenging Albirex Niigata to the title.

After a terrible season in the just concluded SPL, the Jaguars failed to impress in the Singapore Cup. Tanjong Pagar wrapped up the SPL in 6th place with thirty-seven points in twenty-eight games.

Tanjong Pagar won five, drew four, and lost five in their last away games last season.

The Sailors have won seventeen while Tanjong Pagar have managed just a victory and two games ending in a share of the spoils. Lion City are one of the two best sides in the division, and with their recruits, we expect them to get a halftime win here for 1.50.

The Sailors are poised to give their own fans a befitting start to the season, and we expect them to win and score more than two here for 1.80.
