DPMM vs Albirex Niigata Prediction: Visiting Niigata to run riot

In the fourteenth round of the Singapore Premier League, the struggling DPMM will travel to Jalan Besar Stadium to face off against Albirex Niigata. With impressive matchup results, Niigata are now in first place in the standings entering this match. However, DPMM have been unsuccessful in each of their most recent matches, so they will be looking for a different outcome here. 

Having now failed to impress in each of their previous four matches, DPMM will undoubtedly want to be strong here and at least secure a point, despite the fact that they have now lost all four of their matches. During those matches, they were able to earn a draw against Lion City with a score of 3-3; nevertheless, they were only able to experience defeat against Balestier Khalsa, Tampines, and Hougang United. As a result of having surrendered 10 goals over the course of four contests, DPMM is well aware that there is a significant amount of defensive work that needs to be put into a contest against an Albirex Niigata team that is powerful offensively. On the other hand, they did very well to score in three of those matches, which brought their total to seven, which is not a terrible result. Despite this, DPMM are currently sitting in the eighth slot of the Singapore Premier League with 11 points, which puts them six points above Young Lions, who are currently in last place.

Albirex Niigata are currently on top of the league with 30 points, tied for second place with Tampines, despite the fact that they have only played 12 matches so far this season, the fewest of any team in the league so far this season. They have scored 41 goals while only allowing eight to be scored against them.

From the beginning of 2018 until the present, Albirex Niigata and DPMM have competed against one another a total of nine times. During those matches, Albirex Niigata earned a total of five victories, while DPMM gained a total of two victories.
