Brunei DPMM vs Balestier Central Prediction: We anticipate a solid display from the Tigers

On Thursday, Brunei DPMM will face off against Balestier Central in their attempt to get four consecutive games without a defeat at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. The Tigers have been a force to reckon with since the start of the season, and they’ll be poised to take advantage of a struggling home team.

Just after their excellent display against Geylang International, Brunei DPMM failed to take advantage of a struggling Tanjong Pagar team, settling for a (1-1) share of the spoils. They created lots of chances before the break and could have scored more than once but instead found the back of the net once. Before then, James McAllister's men won their first game after eight tries, securing the maximum points over Geylang International on the road. The hosts have suffered six defeats this campaign and can’t afford to drop points on their ground, especially after failing to win at home.

The Tigers scored seven goals in a game for the first time this campaign while conceding twice. They have now won six matches since the start of the season. 

Balestier Central have scored more than a goal in all their matches this season, but their defence has been abysmal this campaign, which might cost them a top-four finish in the long run. 

Peter de Roo's men have won twice, lost two games, and drawn twice on the road this season. 

Over their previous twenty meetings, Brunei DPMM have picked up nine victories and four games ending in a share of the spoils, while Balestier Central have recorded seven victories. The guests have been firing from all cylinders lately, and heading here, scoring seven goals on the road, is a morale booster for them. They’ll face off against a Brunei DPMM team who have not won any of their games at home this season, even against a struggling Tanjong Pagar team.
