SCC Mohammedia vs Olympique Safi Prediction: We anticipate another disappointing display from the hosts

On Sunday, Olympique Safi will face off against winless SCC Mohammedia at the El Bachir Stadium. The hosts have conceded nine goals in just two starts and must be at their best to deny the guests from finding the back of the net. 

The hosts, who were almost relegated last season, began their new campaign with back-to-back defeats against AS FAR Rabat and FUS Rabat—a devastating performance marred with a terrible defence. SCC Mohammedia let in five goals in their opening game and followed it with a (4-0) defeat against FUS Rabat. 

SCC Mohammedia finished in 14th place with twenty-five points out of a possible ninety. 

SCC Mohammedia have struggled to live up to expectations in the Premier League and have not garnered more than thirty-five points since their promotion in 2020.

Amine El Karma men started their campaign with a (1-1) stalemate against Moghreb Tetouan on the road. Despite having more of the ball and dominating the hosts team, Olympique Safi failed to find the back of the net. They were extremely poor and wasteful, firing eighteen shots without finding the back of the net. 

Olympique Safi finished in the top six for the second season running, picking up forty-four points from a possible ninety. Olympique Safi failed to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup despite ending up in the 6th. Olympique Safi are definitely a top side, but after selling and recruiting players, we hope they replicate last campaign's form.

Both teams have won twice and drawn four games over their previous eight meetings. SCC Mohammedia have been below par this season, becoming the first side to have conceded nine goals in two opening games of the season. At the same time, the guests are yet to register a goal this season, although they created more than enough chances on the road in their opening game of the season.

The best thing the hosts will do is not to concede more goals, and we believe Olympique Safi will likely get a goal before the break.

We also expect the guests to score in both halves for 3.25.
