Rwanda vs Nigeria Prediction: The visitors will likely retain their spot at the top of the log

Rwanda will square off against Nigeria at the Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday. The Wasps will hope for a better outing this time after wrapping up their campaign at the bottom of their group, while the Super Eagles will strive to keep the ball rolling following their opening-day victory.

After their recent run, Rwanda jumped nine places up in the latest FIFA ranking. Rwanda have managed just two defeats over their last thirteen matches in all competitions. 

Torsten Spittler's men will strive to make it to the AFCON Tournament for the first time in their history.

After three games without a breakthrough, the Super Eagles returned to winning ways, scoring three goals to secure the maximum points on their ground. Nigeria were firing on all cylinders as Ademola Lookman's brace, and Victor Osimhen's goal were enough to hand them their first win of the group. 

Nigeria nosedived nine places in the latest FIFA ranking following their recent terrible run. Augustine Eguavoen Owen's men, who were runner-up in the AFCON Tournament, have now managed one victory over their last four games.  

The Super Eagles of Nigeria seem to be back on track following their (3-0) victory over Benin Republic. The magical display was one of their best in a long time, and they could have scored more than three goals. At the same time, Rwanda have been solid defensively in recent games and have lost just a game over their last eight matches. 

With the quality of the Super Eagles, we expect them to overwhelm their opponent here, even though it’s tough to secure the maximum points away from home. Rwanda have an organized defense, while Nigeria possesses one of the best attackers in the continent; bet on the away team to score in both halves for 3.25.
