Rwanda vs Djibouti Prediction: The home team will qualify for the next round

Amahoro Stadium will host the African Nations Championship second-leg qualifying encounter between Rwanda and Djibouti. In the first leg, Djibouti pulled off a 1-0 win. Will the table turn this time?

Rwanda struggled in the first leg of this game despite being the favorites on the road and will now look to pay the price to qualify for the next round. While they could not break the deadlock in the first half, the second-half strike by the opponent was enough to keep them behind in this fixture. In the meantime, Rwanda have only one win in their last matches, a 2-1 win over Benin. In other matches, this team lost to Benin, while settling for draws with Libya and Nigeria. 

Djibouti will look to complete what they started in this fixture, as a draw will be enough to see them qualify for the next round. In the first leg encounter, Gabriel Dadzie struck in the 79th minute, good enough to end their run of defeats. In the meantime, the visiting run of matches to the previous week's game saw them fail to win seven consecutive games, losing five and drawing three. 

I expect a better performance from Rwanda in this second leg despite their poor play last week. While Djibouti are the underdogs again, I do not see them getting things right, given that they are on the road now. Rwanda should dominate this game and win, a game that could end 2-0.
