Lokomotiv Moscow vs Dinamo Moscow Prediction: the Opponents Aren't Doing Well

Last week, Lokomotiv broke their five-game losing streak in the Russian Premier League. They managed to take points from the most modest team in the Russian elite, Torpedo (1:0). But could such a minimal victory be a success for a club with a great history? Certainly not. Instead of fighting for a place in the top five, Lokomotiv is struggling for survival, sitting 13th with 12 points.

Dinamo's conditioning is not all right, either. In the last five rounds, the team defeated Orenburg with a minimal score (3:2), played in a draw with CSKA (1:1), and suffered three defeats in a row - against Sochi (1:2), Zenit (0:2) and Akhmat (1:2). However, thanks to an excellent start, Dinamo sits in the very center of the RPL standings, with 20 points from 13 games. It is also worth mentioning the Dinamo's successful performance in the last round of the group stage of the Cup of Russia, where they got a confident two-goal victory over Rostov (3:1).

We are more inclined to see the second team succeed in this matchup. Lokomotiv looks ridiculous this season. They lose from game to game and can only boast victories over lowly teams. On the other hand, Dinamo showed quality soccer in their last match against Rostov, which, by the way, they defeated by a difference of two goals. In our opinion, the visitors will have no trouble scoring.
