Gil Vicente vs Estoril Prediction: The visitors won't lose

On Matchday 9 of the Portuguese championship, Gil Vicente will face Estoril. Will the home side break their unbeaten losing streak in head-to-head encounters? 

Gil Vicente is experiencing a crisis. In the last five games of the Portuguese championship, they have only managed one victory over Maritimo (2:1). Last weekend, the club traveled to Sporting Lisbon and lost 1:3. Gil Vicente sits 13th in the Primera Division table with nine points.

After a successful away game against Vizela (1:0), Estoril drew twice in the Portuguese league. First, the home side drew with FC Porto, and then they got a draw against Chaves. In both meetings, the final score was the same (1:1). Estoril FC is sitting in eighth place with 12 points.

Estoril looks preferable to the home side in the current Primera Division campaign. It should not be forgotten that Estoril has not suffered a defeat in their last eight encounters.
