Police FC vs AFC Leopards Prediction: Both teams will have their chances

Police Sacco Stadium will be the venue for this Kenyan Cup action between Police FC and AFC Leopards. Both teams are coming off defeats. However, which team takes advantage and book their final spot?

Police FC suffered a home defeat against Tusker the last time they were out in the league. In a game that ended in a 0-1 score, 43-minute Charles Momanyi's strike proved the difference, as it was enough to earn all of his Tusker's side maximum points. However, that defeat was Police FC's second in consecutive encounters, as they also lost to AFC Leopards in an earlier league game. Regardless, this team had a run of 16 games with no victories in the prior games before those losses, and in this one, they will look to get their luck again. 

The AFC Leopards suffered a defeat against Bidco United last time out in the league. In a game that ended 0-1, Samuel Ndungu's strike in the 66th minute was the difference, as it gave his side maximum points in that encounter. However, it is worth noting that this side went four straight games that ended in defeats in prior encounters to that loss. In that span, AFC Leopards defeated Compel, Bandari, Talanta FC and Police FC. 

The meetings of these two sides have been very close and tight. However, despite the run of games that AFC Leopards had, the hosts, Police FC did have a better season performance. In what should be an open encounter, the hosts have a better shot at winning here, but both teams scoring should be the first option given the quality of the two teams' attack.
