Panthere vs Fauve Azur Elite Prediction: The home team will fall again

In round two of the Cameroon Elite One, Panthere will play Fauve Azur Elite at Stade Municipal. The two teams could not open their season with a win and will hope for a positive outcome here. Which side takes the maximum points?

Panthere did not have the start they had hoped for in their return to the top flight, as they lost 0-1 to Bamenda. However, last season in the Elite Two, this team had a brilliant performance and finished second spot in the Championship Group, finishing two points behind Aigle Moungo. In the meantime, Panthere's last matches into the season saw them lose to Eding Sport away from home while drawing Tonnerre and Bafoussam. Yet, they picked up wins over Feutcheu and Dragon de Yaounde, scoring eight goals while failing to concede. 

Fauve Azur Elite opened their season with a goalless draw with Dynamo Douala, and they will hope to get a win this time. However, their performances into the new season were not too good, especially considering they could only avoid relegation. Yet, this team's lone defeat in recent games came against APEJES Academy, ending 0-2. In the meantime, Fauve Azur Elite drew Bamenda in that run while picking wins over Avion Academy and Aigle Noir. Ahead of this game, Fauve Azur Elite have only won one in their last eight meetings with Panthere, ending 0-1 in 2018. 

This is another tough one for the newly promoted Panthere, and I expect them to lose. While the visiting team has not been dominant either, their performances have been decent, and they also have a good league experience, which will be of benefit to them. While the two teams' meetings have ended with close scores in the past, with Panthere winning, I feel the tables will turn this time, with Fauve Azur Elite having improved so well over time.
