Olympique Safi vs Ittihad Tanger Prediction: We think both teams will be pleased with a share of the spoils

In their bid to get back-to-back wins for the first time this season, Olympique Safi will face off against Ittihad Tanger at the Stade El Massira on Sunday. Can the guests continue their decent form in the league?

More recently, after scoring first against AS FAR Rabat, they conceded with minutes to the end of the game. It was painful to have conceded in such manners, but the opponents were just too adamant. The stalemate means they are now undefeated over their last five games in the competition. Even though they have had difficult fixtures, Ittihad Tanger have been resilient in their approach. 

Ittihad are undefeated on the road over their last seven games, and they’ll be keen to maintain such a record against the hosts.

Over their previous eighteen meetings, Olympique Safi have won eight while Ittihad Tanger have recorded six wins and four games ending in a stalemate. Olympique Safi were unlucky not to have secured the maximum points in their most recent match at home as they failed to convert their chances as they were reduced to ten men against Raja Casablanca. At the same time, Ittihad Tanger defied all expectations by securing a point at home against AS FAR Rabat. They have actually lost just once on the road in their last seven matches. This is a game that the hosts can’t afford to lose and we are not sure the visitors are ready to drop points as well; bet on the guests to at least secure a point here for 1.60.

We also expect to see both teams settle for a halftime stalemate here for 1.89.

I actually think the guests are more potent on the road, so we want to trust them with a win or draw and over 1.5 goals for 2.20.
