Kwara United vs Enugu Rangers Prediction: A tough outing for the flying Antelope in Ilorin

Kwara United will lock horns against Enugu Rangers in their attempt to return to winning ways at the Kwara State Complex Stadium on Monday. After a poor start to the season, Kwara United are back on their feet and they’ll be keen to prove a point against a solid opponent tomorrow.

The Northern-based side, who secured their second win of the season against Sunshine Stars, picked up back-to-back points away from home. Kwara United settled for a (1-1) share of the spoils against Kano Pillars and almost secured a win on the road against El Kanemi Warriors. Kwara United, who scored in the 67th minute, conceded with the last kick of the game on the road. 

Kwara United are now two points above the relegation zone and must win here to move up on the log. Kabiru Dogo's men have been in fine form lately, picking up five points from a combined nine. 

Kwara United have lost once, won twice and drawn a game over their previous four games at home.

The defending champions have failed to win any of their last three games as they sit in 10th place on the log. More recently, they settled for a share of the spoils against Akwa United on the road, ending their back-to-back losses in the log. Enugu Rangers have been below par this season, and it’s looking like they won’t be able to defend their title. 

Enugu Rangers are not the same team they were in the previous campaign; they’ve managed three wins over their last eight matches. 

Fidelis Ikechukwu's men have won once, lost twice and drawn a game on the road this season. 

Over their previous twelve meetings, four games have ended in a share of the spoils, while Kwara United have won three and Enugu Rangers with five victories. Kwara United haven’t been clinical enough on their ground; they had one of the worst records at home last season. But their two successive victories on their home turf lately will give them the confidence against their guests.
