Ikorodu City vs Shooting Stars Prediction: This Southwest Derby will end in favor of the hosts

Ikorodu City will strive to maintain their momentum on their home turf when they face off against Shooting Stars in the Southwest Derby at the Onikan Stadium on Sunday. In their attempt to pick up their fifth win of the season, Ikorodu City will invest all they have against their opponent tomorrow.

Shooting Stars became the only team to have defeated their guests this season, ending their ten consecutive games without a defeat. All their points have been won on their home turf this campaign as they struggle to find their footing on the road. 

The Oluyole Warriors have picked up fifteen points from a combined thirty-three, scoring nine and conceding nine. Shooting Stars have lost four consecutive matches away from home this season.

Since promotion, Ikorodu City will play their first Southwest Derby on their home ground. The Oga Boys have been in fantastic shape lately, heading here with one defeat in six games. They have been solid both home and away, and a win here would guarantee them a spot in the top half of the log. 

Ikorodu City will be desperate to get their fourth home win against a side who have picked up a point from a combined fifteen away from home. 

I anticipate a decent start from both teams, and we think a goal apiece might surface at the break for 2.28.
