Namibia vs Seychelles Prediction: The Warriors will secure their first three points of the tournament

Namibia will be hopeful of securing three points when they lock horns against the uninspiring Seychelles in their final group game of COSAFA Cup 2024 games at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday. 

The Warriors, who have had a great start to this tournament, will be keen to amass all the points against an average opponent tomorrow. After defeating Lesotho (2-1) and sharing the spoils against Angola, Namibia will grace the knockout round of this competition. 

Namibia won the title in the year 2015 and were a quarter-finalist in 2018. They are more than determined to win this year's edition, having failed to make it to the knockout stage last campaign. 

They are presently ranked 97th and have picked up eight points from a possible twenty-one in the COSAFA tournament since 2021.

The guests have not been bad in the competition compared to the last edition, they have lost once and drawn a game. Seychelles might still advance to the next round if they pull a surprise stunt against Namibia. They are presently in the third spot on the log and are three points behind the leaders. 

Seychelles are one of the low-ranked teams in the competition and have won just once in the last thirty matches. Seychelles have struggled in this tournament over the years and they are yet to record a breakthrough in this competition. 

Namibia have proven themselves in this competition, scoring twice and conceding once. At the same time, Seychelles have been pretty decent in front of goal but vulnerable at the back. Namibia sits at the top of the log and need to amass all the points to win this group; Seychelles will have to pull a surprise stunt to advance to the next round.

Namibia will get off to a flying start to rest some of their key players for the next stage, and we expect them to get a halftime victory for 1.83.

Seychelles have shown that they can score goals as well, so we expect to see a BTTS for 3.28.

We expect to see more than two goals for 2.21.
