Mozambique held Mali to a 1-1 draw in their first AFCON qualifying encounter. In that game, Mozambique took the lead through Geny Catamo's strike in the 37th minute, but Yves Bissouma's strike for Mali in the 52nd minute denied them maximum points. Heading into this game, Mozambique have won two of their last matches, drew two, and lost one. 

Guinea Bissau secured a win in their opener against Eswatini. In that encounter, Bura's lone strike in the 14th minute was the difference, good enough to give Guinea Bissau maximum points. However, a look at this team's recent matches shows Guinea Bissau have lost only once, coming against Sudan. Yet, their encounter against Sudan ended in a win, drawing Ethiopia and Egypt. 

This looks like a draw game, looking at the two teams' recent performances. While Mozambique are slightly favored at home, and with their performance against Mali, it is clear they have a chance. However, Guinea Bissau can not be written off here either, with their run of matches into this. Yet, I do not see a clear winner in this one, and with a goal expected from both teams, a draw looks like the better result here.
