The Atlas Lions will play their final group game against Liberia at the Stade d’Agadir Stadium on Saturday. Things haven’t been going well for Morocco over their previous three matches; however, a win against the Lone Stars is sacrosanct.

The best-ranked team in Africa are yet to win a game since their (2-1) victory over Brazil in March. Morocco head here with two draws and a defeat against South Africa. More recently, they bowed to Bafana Bafana at the Orlando Stadium as their home team struck twice before a consolation goal by Hakim Ziyech in the 60th minute. The result left Morocco in second place with a point behind South Africa at the top of the standings.

They shared the spoils against South Africa on the road and lost the return leg. Liberia are mathematically out of the race for next year's AFCON Tournament, having picked up a point from a possible nine.
Liberia have played two friendlies between their qualifiers and failed to win any of the games.
Liberia participated in the AFCON tournament in 2002, and it will take them a long time to appear in the competition again.
