MC Alger vs ASO Chlef Prediction: The visitors will be keen to inflict more damage on the hosts

On Friday, MC Alger will be determined to bounce back from their recent defeat on the road when they host ASO Chelf at the Stade 5 Juillet Stadium. At the same time, the visitors were knocked out of the Algerian Cup against US Biskra after resting most of their key players.

For the first time in fifteen games, MC Alger surrendered to a far more determined ES Setif team. MC Alger were below par against the hosts as they fired three shots and managed just one on target.

Over their last nineteen meetings, MC Alger won seven while ASO Chlef recorded six victories and seven games ending in a tie. MC Alger were stunned against ES Setif, and not just that, they will be without their key player, Youcef Belaili, who was shown a red card in the 84th minute. It was a hard pill to swallow for the hosts who were looking at gaining more grands at the top of the log. At the same time, ASO Chlef have been inconsistent this season and were knocked out of the tournament they won last season by US Biskra. The visitors remain a threat to teams on the road; however, with Doyens losing their recent game in the league means they’ll be more than determined to secure the maximum points here. The hosts will secure the maximum point, but we think the odds are too low for a game of this magnitude. We would rather settle for a halftime win for 1.64.

Since the visitors will get a goal at least here, we expect to see more than two goals here for 1.61.

We also expect both sides to get a goal apiece here for 2.17.
