Lesotho vs Namibia Prediction: A win for the either team will be a shocking result

Free State Stadium will be the venue for the African Nations Championship qualifier between Lesotho and Namibia. Heading into this game, the two nations have struggled and failed to secure a win. Will things go either way for a side this time?

Lesotho suffered a defeat against Gabon the previous time out in the Africa Cup of Nations. In a 0-2 encounter, second-half strikes from Shavy Babicka and Rody Effaghe were enough to secure a win for their opponent. In the meantime, Lesotho have failed to win any of their recent matches, a run that has extended to eight. In that run, Lesotho lost six games while settling for draws in two other games. 

Namibia played Zimbabwe in their last qualifier in the Africa Cup of Nations. In a 3-1 encounter, Namibia could only get a consolation goal in the 90th minute through Godwin Silveador Eiseb after being behind with three second-half strikes. In the meantime, Namibia have lost each of their last five matches, losing to Angola, Cameroon, Kenya, and Zimbabwe. In those matches, Namibia scored two goals while conceding 12. 

The two nations are nothing to write home about, and it is very difficult to confidently back either side. While Lesotho have failed to win at the end of regular time in this fixture, Namibia on the road will fail to secure a win. This is a game of luck, but the home side should win this time.
